What’s In a Name? The Story Behind OTF Oilz

At first glance, OTF Oilz might just sound like a brand name. But for us, it’s much deeper than that — it’s a story, a journey, and a vision for the future.

OTF stands for Out tha Flamez, the parent company behind OTF Oilz. The name wasn’t chosen randomly. It comes from real-life experience, real sacrifice, and real purpose.

I currently serve as an active firefighter and paramedic for one of the top major fire departments in the United States. Every shift is about stepping into the flames to help others. But one day, when that chapter of my life closes, I plan to step out of the flames and fully into building this business — turning a passion that started on the side into a lasting legacy. That future vision is what inspired the name Out tha Flamez.

But the meaning goes even deeper.

Fire doesn’t just destroy — it also clears the way for growth. Farmers often burn fields to remove what’s old so the land can be renewed and made stronger. Nature itself teaches us that sometimes you have to go through the fire to become something better.

Then there’s the legend of the phoenix, the mythical bird that rises from the ashes stronger than before. That symbol represents resilience, rebirth, and transformation — values that are at the core of both the brand and the person behind it.

So when we say OTF Oilz, we’re not just talking about fragrance oils.
